Now Candidates will be searching for the Eligibility Criteria of Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Exam to check before applying whether they are eligible or not. Therefore we have provided here the SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria 2016. Candidates before applying should ensure that they fulfill the necessary eligibility conditions before applying to SSC CHSL. Age Limit for SSC CHSL Exam 2016:
The age eligibility restricts candidates from all age groups to participate in the CHSL exam 2016. Only those candidate who fall in between the age group of 18 years to 27 years can apply for this examination.However, there are exceptions to this rules as the Government offers certain age relaxation to the following groups:
Note: 18-27 years as on 01.01.2017 (Candidates born not before 02-01-1990 and not later than 01-01-1999).
Educational Qualification (As on 01.01.2017)
- Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
Nationality
Candidate must be either:
- a) citizen of India, or
- b) subject of Nepal, or
- c) subject of Bhutan, or
- d) Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the January 1, 1962 with the intention of permanently settle down in India, or
- e) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from, Burma, Sri Lanka ,Pakistan, East African Countries such as Kenya, Zaire ,Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settle down in India.
